Jeanne Ross is an artist, author, and art educator whose work reflects a lifelong interest in creativity, psychology, symbolism, color, and spiritual traditions. She studied fine art at the Dayton Art Institute and later continued her studies in art education, including work at the University of London Institute of Education. As a painter, she has primarily worked in acrylic landscape painting.
Her life and career have taken her across the United States and abroad. She also spent more than two decades with the Central Intelligence Agency, where she worked in technical operations and disguise. Her varied experiences have inspired her fiction and nonfiction. Her books range from explorations of color, art, and spirituality to memoir, poetry, science fiction, and psychological thrillers.
Through her writing and artwork, Jeanne continues to explore the relationship between the visible world and the less tangible dimensions of human experience—creativity, intuition, meaning, transformation, and imagination.
