CHAKRA ASCENSION

Chakra Ascension™ is an original board game Jeanne Ross created as an experiential exploration of the chakra system, personal growth, and spiritual development. Through play, participants encounter ideas associated with the seven major chakras and the qualities, challenges, and levels of awareness connected with them. It is not a game of competition or of reaching a required finish. Instead, it encourages reflection on the individual choices, experiences, strengths, and challenges that shape our lives, helping participants see how greater awareness can lead to a more purposeful life.

Chakra Ascension may be used individually, with small groups, or as the basis for a guided workshop experience. Chakra Ascension™

Players move through a series of questions and reflective experiences drawn from personal life situations. The questions are organized around themes associated with the seven major chakras—Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Brow, and Crown—each representing different areas of human experience and consciousness. Participants are invited to consider their choices, challenges, relationships, opinions, beliefs, values, and recurring behavioral patterns. There is no failure in the game; every experience—whether viewed at the time as positive or difficult—can contribute to awareness and evolutionary growth. Each person follows a unique path, and the choices made along that path become part of their individual development. Through reflection and discussion, participants are encouraged to recognize meaning in their experiences and consider how greater self-awareness can lead to more conscious and purposeful choices.

HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED

Players throw dice and encounter several different types of cards and experiences.

Chakra Cards correspond to the seven major chakras—Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Brow, and Crown. Each card presents a question associated with that level of experience or consciousness. The player reads the question aloud and responds as openly as possible, earning tokens as the game progresses.

Block Cards identify behaviors or attitudes that may interfere with personal growth. The player is invited to consider how that particular pattern may have appeared in past or present experience. These cards encourage recognition rather than judgment.

Angelic Messages focus on positive qualities, ethical choices, meaningful experiences, spiritual guidance, and occasions when the player may have expressed compassion, courage, generosity, or other higher qualities.

Oracle Cards offer an inspirational thought or idea. Before selecting a card, the player may reflect upon a current problem or question and then consider how the message might apply to that situation.

Question Mark Cards allow the other participants to ask the player a thoughtful personal question. These exchanges can open areas of discussion that may not arise through the chakra questions themselves.

The game concludes when a player has earned 21 tokens. Participants are then encouraged to review the cards they encountered and consider the recurring themes, successes, challenges, and insights that emerged during play.

The Purpose of Chakra Ascension™

Within the framework of the game, the chakras represent different dimensions of human experience—from survival, desire, and personal identity to creativity, compassion, intuition, and spiritual vision.

Chakra Ascension™ encourages participants to view both ordinary and significant life experiences as opportunities for greater awareness. Successes, mistakes, difficulties, relationships, and choices can all become material for reflection and growth.
